Summary:

A successful applicant will be an all-rounder who work well autonomously and in a diverse team; have a strong technical background, and have specific experience in cloud technology and Managed Services.
You must be able to deliver technology solutions and communicate the value of our services to both technical influencers and business decisions makers.
You will be responsible for the entire technical process from assessing and designing solutions for our sales executive to present; through to actual project management, implementation and handover to support desk for ongoing management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Actively participate in Pre-Sales consultations, meetings and presentations as required by the Sales Executives
  • Need to be confident to independently handle full range of technical queries with variety of senior customers, with proven problem solving ability
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Drive discovery meetings and workshops to identify customer and business pains as well as technology architecture of the current state
  • Design Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions and the transition to production
  • Continually drive internal company efficiencies and processes

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in support, solution design, presentation and implementation of technical solutions for small, mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Multi-skilled and experienced in managed IaaS, cloud solution design, managed services, ITaaS, DraaS and exposure to networking, security, and storage
  • Established certifications and advanced capability across Microsoft solution design, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 highly regarded
  • Established certifications and experience in VMWare virtualisation technology
  • Working knowledge of multiple Disaster Recovery products, services and solution design
  • RHCE, MCITP, VCP, CCNA, JNCIA and similar certifications are highly desirable

▼ Support Desk & Systems Engineer

Summary:

A Support Desk and Systems Engineer is responsible for resolving any IT related issues and will provide exceptional service and assistance to rectify and solve issues as they arise. Your primary responsibility as a Systems Engineer involves providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd level systems support and maintenance across a number of clients and platforms including user and server support, systems maintenance, and end-to-end IT solutions. This role involves Windows administration and configuration, installation of servers and systems, desktop and server support. This includes receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. You will also have the opportunity to design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions and projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Office 365 email migrations and SharePoint Online solutions.

Requirements:

Ideally you would have at least 3 years’ experience in a hands on face to face support role

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT and/or relevant Microsoft certification
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8, Mac and iPad
  • Experience with backup solutions
  • Strong knowledge and skills in the Microsoft Office 365 offering
  • Strong skills in PowerShell
  • Strong Skills in Active Directory
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Create flowcharts, diagrams and other documentation
  • Ensure that all likely aspects of a project or system are considered
