Discover How Technology Adoption is Changing The Way Education is Delivered in Australian Schools
1 – Seamless Learning Experience For Students
Delany College is a High School located in the Parramatta diocese of New South Wales. The school have partnered with Telstra to enable better collaboration and learning experience for its students. Some of the solutions deployed include video conferencing capabilities, and ‘show and share’, allowing students to communicate with one another like never before, from anywhere.
2 – Collaborative Learning Through Connected Classrooms
“Technology is really an enabler, so we have a good pedagogical framework which relies on students collaborating and working together and having presentation – the accountability of being on their feet and communicating. But the technology enables you to reach out to others locally, to reach out to neighbouring schools, an indeed reach out across the world.”
3 – Professional Teaching Powered by “Enablers”
“The wonderful thing about Delany connective is that at its heart it’s all about learning and teaching. However, that learning and teaching is given much more power by what we call “enablers”. The technology in the space around the enablers, in the hands of good professionals, they will do extraordinary things with that technology.”
4 – Engaged Student Learning
“Students are leading and being the drivers of their own learning.”
